Rye bread has a complex flavour profile, and bodes particularly well to long and slow sourdough fermentation, for that flavour to develop even further. With hints of fruitiness and very subtle sourness, rye sourdough gives wonderful unique flavours that compliment the sour notes of this traditional style of bread.
