These tasty Shiitake Mushrooms are grown by Iain Pritchard from Mushroom Head at his small mushroom shed on the east side of Brisbane. Grown with no chemicals and simply dehydrated to preserve them and intensify the flavour for you.
The dried Shiitake can be simply grated over any dish for a real Umami flavour. They do need to be rehydrated in warm water for about 10 - 15 mins then squeezed out and used in any dish you choose. For a very decadent dish rehydrate them in white wine.
These equate to approximately 150grams of dried Shiitake mushrooms.
