Win a Certified Organic Ham for Christmas!

October 26, 2020

If you're going to enjoy ham for Christmas this year - please choose wisely!

Pigs are unfortunately one of the most poorly treated animals here in Australia, with 90% of pork products coming from factory farms where pregnant sows are often confined to stalls they cannot even turn around in. This is so very cruel, unethical and ridiculous really when you learn how beneficial pigs can be in a regenerative farming system where they actually help to build the quality of the soil.

If you consider the stress that poor animal has experienced, how can eating it be good for your health?!

Luckily, many farmers are embracing a more holistic style of farming where the welfare of the animal is paramount. Our friends at Sherwood Road Organic Meats only sell truly free-range and organic meats and we are so excited to have one of their delicious hams to give away this Christmas!

To go in the draw to win an ethically and locally produced NITRATE-FREE PASTURE-RAISED, CERTIFIED ORGANIC HAM VALUED AT $200, simply like and comment on our Facebook post here.

Prize includes:

1 x whole Certified Organic, Pastured Raised leg of ham worth $200 (small whole or large half, 4kg approx) for you and your family to enjoy this Christmas!
